Baby Girl’s Activity: Moving and grooving in my belly. I was able to capture some movements with my iPhone video camera. It was the first time my hubby was able to experience her movements for himself. So sweet.
Body Feels: I’ve felt pretty decent this last week. It just takes an extra bit of effort getting up from a reclining position on the couch. Might be needing assistance soon.
Total Weight Gain: 18 pounds
Craving: Ice cream is starting to become my thing. I tried Dairy Queen’s new Reese’s Extreme Blizzard. Oh my word, it’s my new favorite blizzard for sure. I requested no chocolate syrup – I am not a fan of chocolate syrup. So I cannot speak to how good the intended version of the Reese’s Extreme Blizzard tastes. However, my husband tried it – as it comes – and said it was awesome too. So 2-thumbs up to DQ!! Yummm.
Pondering: How quickly can we get our baby girl on a good sleep schedule? I love my sleep, and am slightly worried about what the lack of sleep will do to me. Thoughts, veteran moms?
Nursery Progress: There is a chalk-drawing of my grandmother’s profile hanging in my grandparent’s front room. I have always been drawn to it and adored it from the first moment I laid eyes on it. Before my grandma’s passing 2 years ago, I requested to have that picture one day, and she agreed. I knew I would hang it somewhere in my home, however I wasn’t quite sure where. As I have been developing my theme for our daughter’s room, this picture came to mind. I have the perfect place for it, and I think it will add just the right touch to the nursery.
I had the sweetest moment with my grandpa requesting that I have the picture for our soon-to-be little girl’s nursery. He joyfully said I could have the picture whenever I wanted, reminded me that my grandma was a very special woman, and thanked me. I thanked him and gave him the tightest squeeze!
I am so excited to hang this perfect piece of family history in our nursery.
